DC CHAPTER ANNOUNCES IT'S 2008 PROGRAM OF EVENTS and ADOPTS A NEW SYMBOL.
The fall brings many good things, including the first anniversary of the DC Friends of the Brandywine Workshop. We have adopted the obelisk, an ancient Egyptian architectual element, as our Chapter symbol and inspriation.
Just as the image of a pyramid honors Philidelphia's famed Pyramid Club, of which master printmaker Dox Thrash was a prominent member; the obelisk symbolizes our support of the mission of the Philadelphia Brandywine Workshop.
